The Bone Sparrow

I found 'The Bone Sparrow' quite good. It was, however, a bit hard to get into and understand. It made me think about what it would be like to always be behind a fence. The story is about Subhi, who is a refugee, and Jimmie, who is from the other side of the fence. Subhi wants to know what it's like outside of the fence and Jimmie wants to know what it's like inside the fence. They meet secretly and get to know each other. I didn't really like this book because I prefer books from a teenager's perspective and not a 10 year old's. I recommend this book for people who like books from a younger person's perspective.
