Defne, The Eagles
Saint Death is a gripping tale which deals with real issues without attempting to cover it with soothing propaganda. Sedgwick put himself in the shoes of Arturo and travelled the lengths of Mexico to unveil the underlying truth of what life there is really like. The tale is set in the grimly violent, gang-ridden, drug dependant border of Mexico. This exhilarating story is fast-paced and very easy to get into. This book helps acknowledge how rapidly our lives can be altered and the unknown dangers that people face every step of their lives and how much one mistake can cost.
