Miss Dowler, Where The Wycombe Ones Are
After the Fire
This book was a difficult read and I did not enjoy it. I felt that it lacked good adult female role models for Moonbeam, and that this book fails to deliver a clear indication that the cult's treatment of girls and women in particular was wrong. To give Will Hill his credit, he seems to have been diligent in his research, and his dramatic and emotional realisation of cult life is certainly powerful. I just wish that Moonbeam's recovery had include more defence of the rights of women in particular.
