Where the World Ends

This book is about a group of boys who go away to an island on a boat and are expected to be back home in a couple of weeks but don't due to their return boat not turning up for them.

I did not enjoy this book as I thought it was boring from start to finish and nothing really good happened. It's not a book I will ever read again and I recommend it more to boys as I feel that boys would more enjoy it than girls, however I could be wrong so why don't you read it and see for yourself?

My least favourite character in this book would have to be Kenneth as I seem to think he was the most annoying and not many people seemed to like him as much.

My favourite Character would have to be Quilliam as he looks after little Davie who is on his first voyage away from his actual home.

I feel the writer (Geraldine McCaughrean) has used good language techniques but as the book is mainly about boys it is not appealing for girls as such.

In my opinion it needs more exciting events in it to make it more active and appealing. Therefore i do not like the book so i give it 1/5 stars.
