Saint Death

This book was electrifying. It seemed to burn a hole in my head and I could not stop thinking about it to the point where I woke up at 5am this morning with the cold realisation of the significance of the first chapter. The writing was so spare yet so vivid and vital, full of unforgettable images. The structure was balanced and in my eyes perfect, each incident linking to the next filling every moment with significance. Arturo's story drew me in and still hasn't let me go! Is this a winner? Hell, yes!
