The Wolves of Currumpaw

I really liked this book and it has fantastic pictures. It is about wolves who roamed freely in America in 1862, and how people wanted to capture them. It is very interesting finding out what happened. At the end it is sad because we realise what a terrible thing the humans have done trying to get rid of the wolves. However, it is good because it makes us realise that we have to look after animals in their natural environment. I would say this book is for Key Stage2 and Key Stage3 children as there are quite grown up words used in it. I think it is non fiction as it is telling us things that actually happened. I would give this book 9/10. It is quite a long book so takes some time to read it.
