Railhead

Railhead is a very enjoyable book set in a futuristic world. The story starts of with one of my favorite characters, Zen. He is a small time thief stealing to support his family, but there is something about him that he doesn't know that will change his life forever. The story line though complicated is also easy to follow and there are many twists and turns that make you stop and think about them. The book was very engaging because you don't want to stop reading and every page your learn something new, which can be bad or good. The book takes you to a different place, which I find that some books don't. Even though this book didn't have any pictures you could see in your head what all the characters looked like. My favorite character is called Raven because he is very mysterious, but Zen finds out more about him as the story goes on. The way the book was written was very good. The way that the author goes back and refers to 'old-earth' words is very interesting and intriguing. In conclusion this book is a very interesting read and definitely needs to be a book that you read in Secondary School.
