'Railhead' is an extraordinary book, beautifully written, with many interesting plot twists, characters and surroundings. The protagonist, Zen, begins as a petty thief - as he would say:"the lone thief, all stray-cat cool, walking solitary down some midnight street" - but is tasked to steal a very important item, the pyxis. This leads to meeting many characters who will help him on his adventure, or try shut it down, such as Nova, Raven and Thredony. Overall, I believe that the book is amazing, and, out of all the Carnegie award shortlisted books I have read so far, it seems the best. 'Railhead' really is an amazing book, I could barely put it down, and if you like a combination between action, adventure and science fiction, this book is pure perfection, and my description is just the tip of the iceberg.
