Henry Hall, Ermysted's

After the Fire

I liked how the book skipped in and out of the present, and told the story through memories and to her therapists, and how it referred to things that had not yet been stated in the book, e.g. ‘The Purge’, keeping you at an edge. I noticed how large chunks of chapters had been copied, adding effect to the recount. The book is compelling and enjoyable and well worth the read.
