The Stars at Oktober Bend

The stars at Oktober bend was an interesting and enjoyable book. The characters were likable and the story itself was quite good. I liked the idea of a character (Alice) who had some sort of mental issue however, I thought that her pages not having capital letters didn't fit her character because in the book it says she is a good writer. Manny is also a good character and I thought that it was interesting that he was foreign and his backstory made you feel sorry for him.Lastly I thought the end of the book was also quite good because Alice was no longer in danger, Manny and Alice most likely became a couple and Alice and Joey's granddad (I assume because it wasn't very clear) got out of jail-which I was very happy about because he didn't really deserve to be in prison.Overall this book was very good and I would recommend that you read it.
