Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

Sputnik's guide to life on earth was a good book that made sense and had a meaning to it. However I found it rather childish and I was unsure why it was chosen for a teenage reading audience but once I had viewed it in the perspective of a younger child I found it quite enjoyable and alright to sit down and read. Prez is a young boy that is in care because his grandad has dementia, during his time in the temporary he is given a place at a nearby farm for the summer. Whilst he is there an alien named Sputnik arrives and tells him he has to save the world! Overall I found it alright but would say it should be targeted at a younger audience therefore is not a winner.
