The Smell of Other People's Houses
Now this story was fantastic, I love history books and that's probably why I liked it so much. At first I found it confusing trying to realise which character I was reading about, but as I got further in I started to realise who I was reading about. One thing I didn't think was right was the blurb: ' Ruth wants to be remembered. Dora wishes she was invisible. Alyce can't bring her self to leave. Hank is running away'. I feel like the author had got Alyce and Hank 's story perfect they lived up to the blurb but Ruth and Dora, I think Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock got theirs muddled up. But all in all the book was amazing. I wish she would do a sequel to this book about Ruth, Hank, Sam and Marguerite (Ruth's baby). I love this book.
