Johann, St Bede's Inter-Church School
The Stars at Oktober Bend
Throughout reading this book, I absolutely adored the writing style and how it easily changes perspectives, thus, this gives both alternative views and honestly, a big wake up call on what reality is. This book is quite hard to follow, plot-wise, but, it makes you think and looks you closer into how the character's thoughts are perceived, whether you hate or love the book, my personal thoughts is that you everytime you get asked about the book; you would smile and think of how nice it was. However, for me, it did not touch me or make me feel the same way as the characters because I, myself, do not have personal experience of these events happening, yet the book may be good in a substantial point of view.
