The Bone Sparrow

Bone sparrow was an amazing book that revealed some of the horrifying truths of what it was like for a refugee. this book was sad, tragic but at the same time happy. The book was brilliantly written but at first was slow and at points the author abandoned the plot and so I struggled to keep my interest in the book. Meanwhile, the author made up for it when she took us with Subhi, the main character, on his emotional life. The characters were very convincing. I thought that highlight of the book was the end part as I could hardly put the book down was I got into the last part and I felt excited, relieved and sad very quickly which is on of the reasons why I would definitely recommend this book.
