The Smell of Other People's Houses
The Smell of Other Peoples Houses was a lovely read which just like Salt to the Sea, diverts between the point of view of four different characters: Ruth, Alyce, Dora and Hank in 1970s Alaska. I loved the way the story was structured loved the characters and each of the stories they had to tell. I felt that I could connect with them and feel empathy for them easily. Though the plot, at times felt too slow pace and the main events of the book fell more towards the end, It had well constructed themes and overall was a charming, memorable read!
