Ella, Weald of Kent Grammar School
I loved Thornhill as it was presented through split narrative, but this was done by the writer by using a diary and pictures to portray two different viewpoints. I did find it slightly confusing at the beginning as it wasn't clear who the person portrayed in the picture was until further along in the story. It is also a very interesting and original story line as I have never thought of or seen any books written like this or about anything like this. Over all I think it was very well written and the illustrations were beautifully portrayed.
