Salt to the Sea
Hands down my favourite book of the scheme.
I don't like war books. I should stress that now. However this book did not follow any cliches of the genre I've come to expect. The story is well crafted and excellently written, with deep history of both events and characters.
Not only that but the various-narrator trope was done amazingly. My only nit-pick would be that the characters met together too quickly. I prefer it when only subtle hints are made to the other characters, teasing the reader until they finally meet together at the climax of the story.
