Gail, John Mason School - Abingdon

Wolf Hollow

This book was about a girl (Annabelle) who protects a mysterious man when he is blamed for the disappearance of Betty, who was new and was bullying Annabelle.
I quite liked the style of writing as it was in the point of view of a school girl who did interesting things and was actually in the action. However, I thought that the plot was a bit dark with Annabelle's friend losing an eye, although the story was quite good. Furthermore, the title didn't seem to fit for whole book as it was only a place name.
Overall, I would recommend this book for year 7 and 8.
