Megan and Jessica, A New Chapter

Salt to the Sea

Winter, 1945. Four teenagers. Four secrets.

Salt to the Sea is a book set during WW2, in which four separate individuals are attempting to flee a war torn Europe and reach safety. Each one is unaware on how all their lives will cross paths.

Although this book is written from the perspective of four different people, it is extremely easy to read. It will grip you straight from the beginning as the story began from the first page. The lives of these characters are so interesting and the mystery behind them is thrilling.

This surprised us due to the fact that this book is a historical one. Usually historical book focus on the facts whereas this book gives us the chance to explore the thoughts and feelings of somebody at the time.

We would fully recommend this book to anyone because of the emotional message and thoughts it portrays.
