Luke, Woodnewton Supreme Readers

Thornhill

I think the book THORNHILL by Pam Smy is a book for more advanced readers as it contains more adult language and some unfortunate events. I personally would restrict this to Year 6 and above.
I believe that the lack of colours in this book show the girls’ emotions because she hides away and is very depressed.
But overall ‘THORNHILL’ is a very descriptive book that shows good language to keep the story interesting and doesn’t bore the reader.
