Salt to the Sea
Salt To The Sea. Four teenagers, four different lives.
I love the way each character is completely different. It adds tension and excitement to the story line. Every little detail is well described such as the scene, the way the characters express their pain and emotions.
I admire all the effort that has gone into writing this story. The historic accuracy is outstanding. All the research that has gone into writing this book is shown in many ways.
I like how they each have a different backstory revealing it bit by bit, giving lots of character development. As you read deeper into the story you begin to understand more. I'd recommend reading this book in larger chunks as you understand the story more this way.
I enjoy reading how the different characters each have something unique about them but I also like that they have one thing in common... a secret. Each secret different in some way but each makes them more human because the more flaws a character has the more human they are.
I would rate this book 5/5 and I would recommend it to anyone that would like to read an interesting, suspenseful book!
