The Stars at Oktober Bend

The Stars at Oktober Bend is a very emotional, sweet story about a girl with 'crazy wiring,' falling in love with a boy who has experienced terrible things himself. As their characters develop, more issues are brought for every resolution, and the story becomes very complicated, not every chapter I could follow completely from the last, some things were not explained, which I won't mention for the sake of concealing the later plot. Overall, this story appealed to me in its unique approach to the alternate perspectives of life, everyone is described in their own unique way and it excited me greatly. I really enjoyed this book and it made me see certain things differently, such as how a girl with realistic mental issues might feel unequally about a situation I'm fine with. This story was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
