James, Lancaster Royal Grammar School

Wed Wabbit

Wed Wabbit, for me, is my least favourite Carnegie book that I have read so far. Not only because of the boring and silly content but because of the way the book was written. The mixture of writing and rhymes made it hard to gain any momentum whilst reading the book which I found really frustrating. The book follows two children, with very contrasting personalities, lost in a land of nonsensical characters. The ‘hardship’ makes them realise what is important and puts things into perspective for themselves. Overall, the book just wasn’t very interesting. 2/10
