Amelie, Caxton Readers

Wed Wabbit

Wed Wabbit has all the elements of a children's book: it jumps straight into the action; doesn't express a lot of explanation, especially around the characters' feelings, and makes what could be a very good plot outline fairly dull. Although I found some of the characters quite humorous and relatable, I felt like they were fairly stereotypical and lacked creativity. For these reasons, I don't believe that Wed Wabbit is one of the 'better reads' for our age group, but this being said, my younger cousin seemed to really enjoy it.
