Salt to the Sea
We are really enjoying this book so far. I'm not usually interested in history, however it shows it in a different way. However this is a very interesting book, we just think that it would be much better if there was only one character narrating it. We have just read up to the part were they have left the barn, our favourite character is the shoe poet he is a very mysterious and complex character. We think this because we don't know his real name. We recommend this book to ages 10+. Our favourite part is when at the beginning they say guilt is a hunter, fate is a hunter, shame is hunter and fear is a hunter. This really helps us understand what each character is going through personally. Happy reading.
