Lili, Chobham Academy Book Group

Pete likes everything to be tidy and he starts by looking at every patch of flowers and snipping off any flower which is different and he goes over the top by doing things like chopping down trees because they look untidy without leaves. Then he pours cement all over the ground and he can’t get into his house, so he has to sleep outside. In the morning he realised that the forest was much better how it was so he sets to work by clearing all the concrete and replanting all the trees. The book is full of amazing pictures and incredible detail it would’ve taken ages to draw those pictures. I’d rate this book for 3+.
