Tidy is an informative book which has some interesting illustrations which describe the story very well and give the story more feeling to it. If you followed just the illustrations, you would most likely to be able to follow the story very easily because of the well-designed drawings. All of the colours of this book are always well suited to the feelings of the story and characters so you can easily understand what they can feel and why. This book has a deep message about saving the environment and looking after it.
I enjoyed reading this book because the illustrations are directly related to the story and help show the true meaning of it. In this book, the illustrations are very strong thus helping express the messages of the story. My favourite part is where Pete realised that he made a mistake and decided to make it right again.
I would recommend this book to most young readers as it is very child friendly. I think that the age range should be for 4 to 7 year olds. Tidy is also very well illustrated and the drawings help make the story easier to read so I would give it a 9 out of 10.
In conclusion, I think that this book has some very good illustrations which express the story very well and improve the powerful message of Tidy.
