The Hate U Give
This is one of my favourite books because it shows how difficult people's lives are every day and how lucky we are. You shouldn't have to change who you are to fit in and you should be allowed to be yourself. This book shows the injustice that black people get all the time just because of the colour of their skin. At the beginning, Starr was at an all time low, struggling with her friend's death, but as it carries on, you see her worlds changing and her two worlds colliding.
I would totally recommend this book, therefore I would give it a 9/10.
