Melissa, Glossopdale School

Rook is quite an interesting story about all sorts of things and a lot of things go wrong. It starts from the bird's point of view but changes and is based on a boy with learning difficulties.

The plot was quite good, however it wasn't my favourite book, it had a slow start but got better throughout the book. I enjoyed the ending and the whole book was quite relatable. The fact it's about a boy with learning difficulties being bullied because of his disability was quite upsetting and makes you realise how much it actually happens and not just if you have a disability.

I'd give this book 3 stars and would recommend it to slow readers because I got through it quite fast, and I am quite a slow reader.
