The Bone Sparrow

I really liked The Bone Sparrow because it was a really good book. Although it is based on a real story, it is a really good book telling us about Subhi in the refugee camp. He wants to know all about the outside world, and with a friend on the other side, he really wants to know her properly. In the beginning of the book, we learn that a sparrow in the house means death, but at the end of the book, what we have believed through the book turns out to be wrong. It is really sad when the Jackets come and Subhi's best friend dies, but he survives. It makes us really fell sorry for Subhi. It was a very, very good book and I think that it should win the Carnegie Book Awards.
