Generally, I think that the author of Wolf Hollow hasn't been able to make the concept of the story easily recognisable. I found it took away any interest making it harder to engage enthusiastically when reading it.
Therefore, it failed in persuading me to enjoy reading it as it lacked any mystery or surprises in the storyline, which I think are key features of a successful book.
