Alice, Bilingual Bookworms
Annabelle used to live a quiet life. She never thought that what she said, what she did or even what she thought would ever matter. She always looked at Toby, a World War One veteran in a curious way. But when Betty, a cold, cruel and manipulative girl moved to their peaceful town, the secrets that for decades silently slept in the woods rose an formed a mist that would soon cover the hills of Wolf Hollow.
Wolf Hollow is a novel that talks about bullying, war but also the very hard choices that a young girl has to make. I really liked Wolf Hollow because there is always something happening and this is something that I think is very rare. The way the writer tells the story is great but I think it would have been even better if she had changed character each chapter because then we could have understood more the opinions of each character because I thought the main character, Annabelle, was not really original, however that made her choices look more similar to the ones a normal child would have made.
