Ivy, Ansford Academy

Rook

I thought Rook was a confusing book that I couldn't really get into. There are definetly morals and good meanings in the book but it seemed to end before it really started. I think there are definetly points in the book which are relatable however, such as his relationship with his brother and his problems in school, although I think there should be more time to be able to know the characters better.

In short, Rook is a nice, short book to read that never drags on. Although I don't think it deserves to win, I think that some people would enjoy it more than I did.
