Salt to the Sea
I really enjoyed this book but found it hard due to the exceptionally short chapters, because sometimes you got muddled up with who was who and what character was talking. The main reason I enjoyed this book was because of the topic, which is one I really like. But what else was really good was that it wasn't about all the soldiers fighting it was from the peoples' point of view and it makes you understand the effect of war on the refugees and discover the horrors they went through and the lengths they went to save their and their children's lives.
