Beck

Beck was a really intriguing, gripping read. It is about a young, coloured boy called Beck, who is shipped from Britain to Canada after his mother dies. He then escapes from the priests who take him in and travels across America and through all of the elements to find out where he truly belongs. It's a heart-warming story about family, adventure, mystery and belonging. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it to everyone (although there is some mature content in it.)
