Wed Wabbit

Wed Wabbit is a good book with some excellent original ideas and, although rather silly and unbelievable at times, easy enough to follow and understand the descriptions. The pace was good throughout apart from the ending where things seemed rushed and too many changes happened at once. I really liked the introduction to Wimbley Land as it was very descriptive and built a happy picture in my head. I thought that the idea of Wed Wabbit growing enormous and running Wimbley Land was quite hilarious, and his status was conveyed well. Some of the jokes weren't very funny, but this didn't really get in the way of Wed Wabbit being a great book. The emotions within the book were very powerful and this was helped by the range of characters and their personalities within the book. Overall, this is a perfect family book with a relatively good pace, detailed descriptions and some excellently chosen characters, all with great yet contrasting personalities. Therefore, I strongly recommend Wed Wabbit to anyone who enjoys creativity and a quick, fun read.
