Raiyan, King Edward VI Grammar School

Salt to the Sea

I am actually quite disappointed by this book but don't get me wrong, the language is magnificent however in contrast, the structure becomes very confusing as the stories of the world war two survivors are split up and the chapters are placed in between one another. Thus, you lose the tension and suspense built up in an easily avoidable way. The Language on the other hand is truly a sensation to behold and almost brings tears to your eyes.
