Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone is a book of wonder, where we find out about the mysterious life of a boy could Harry. The illustrations in this book are wonderful. I personally feel that the colour scheme in this book and the style of the illustrations suit the mysterious life and events of Harry. The illustrations of this book have drawn you in by blurring out some of the pictures. Another great thing about the book is attention to small details, like having cream paper that looks old and disturbed and this makes the book visibly pleasing. The book also has a good use of the front and back pages as the illustrator has managed to create a scary atmosphere, to persuade you into reading the book. I feel like the illustrations will help any reader to stay interested and continue to read this lovey book. One of the downsides to this book is the fact that it is very large and is not very good for reading on the go, but if you want a night-time reader the this book would be great. Lastly, I think this book would be great for all ages especially young, as the pictures would keep them interested.
