Beyond the Bright Sea

For me, this book was very different. It really stands out and was very different to what I had expected having read the blurb. Personally, I felt that the blurb didn't portray the same adventure Crow actually experiences in the book. And there are definitely twists and turns that are very unexpected.
I really felt connected to Crow, as she is the kind of person I want to be like. Courageous enough to stand up for herself, but not greedy or needy. She was described amazingly well and I really felt that I was seeing a movie of her and Osh as it was so well described.
I think this book was most definitely a surprising read and I would most certainly recommend it to anyone who asked me for a recommendation. You really feel as if you are there watching the events unfold it was impressive how real it feels when you are reading it. I found myself lost in Crow's world and I couldn't put the book down once I started it. A magnificent and highly enjoyable read, I loved it!
