'Saint death' is an exciting novel following the life of Arturo, a 'nobody' living near the Mexico-USA border. When Arturo's close friend finds himself in trouble, he must risk his and his friend's life to cross the border and fix the problems he caused.
I loved the plot thoroughly. The language in this story was complex but somewhat easy to read. Most of the profanity is in Spanish, which I found was quite clever and added a unique aspect.
My favourite character was Margherita because she was kind, and overall helped with Arturo's problems. Speaking of Arturo, he was also a favourite due to his quiet nature which could be relatable to some readers.
However, there were some characters who weren't as lovely. My least favourite character was Raul due to his nasty personality, and due to the fact he has killed quite a few people!
Overall, I loved this book. I would recommend 'Saint Death' to people aged 11+ because there are some themes and language that wouldn't be suitable for younger children.
