Salt to the Sea

Salt to the sea
By: Ruta Sepetys

So far, I am finding this book not very exciting and a little hard to follow as I don’t really know what is happening. It is a little confusing.

As I read on I understand the book more fully. This is a very truthful, but saddening book. I have liked reading it. It is about the war and I think that the level of detail is really good.

I think if I get more into the book I may enjoy it more than I do already. I am interested in the story line as it is about people’s lives, but it loses momentum, and then gains it again. I care about some of the characters because they don’t have anything so you feel sorry for them.

I would recommend this book to someone who is interested in the past, people's feeling's and their lives.

I would give this book 4 stars out of 5.
