The novel 'Wolf Hollow' tells the story of a girl named Annabelle, who has grown up in the shadows cast by two wars and ever since she was little has lived in the town known as Wolf Hollow. Annabelle's quiet life soon gets turned upside down when 'new girl' Betty Glengarry quickly shows her the bad side of things.
My favourite character would have to be Annabelle (the main protagonist) I think that she plays a really important role as she shows the reader that judgement doesn't always have to be shown. Especially when she has been through the experience of world wars.My favourite part of the book would by far be the ending few chapters. They include many twists and turns, the book slowly indicates different emotions both tragic and exciting as it shows how much a struggle the world can be.
The story is based around bullying and how it feels to be in a sticky situation. I like how the book is honest and doesn't exaggerate over anything.
Overall, this novel was a joy to read and the moral would be about how one lie slowly leads into another. I would rate this book 4/5 stars.
