Selene, Chiswick School
The Smell of Other People's Houses
I enjoyed this but it is not my number one recommended. However it's definitely worth reading.
It's exciting, especially when Dumpling ends up in hospital and Hank meets Ruth. I do not regret reading it and think it was done well.
I like the fact that the author picked a topic of which is seldom written about in books and taught at school. Before this, I didn't even know about the statehood between Alaska and America.
I didn't really like Lily, Ruth's sister because she's a bit irritating and the fact that Ruth didn't write back to Selma when with the nuns annoyed me a little. Only small things though, definitely a good read.
