The Bone Sparrow

I LOVED this book. I didn't know much about refugee camps before reading it, but I found that it really opened my eyes to what's actually going on there. I liked Jimmy's character, and how the storyline showed that, even though she had her freedom, her life wasn't perfect. I also hated the Jackets, but I thought that the book reflected accurately how the outside world reacts to the refugee crisis. However, I think that the ending needed more explanation. It was a bit rushed, and because of that, it wasn't as hard-hitting as I thought that it would be. Overall, I would give this book an 8/10.
