The Bone Sparrow
I enjoyed this book, because it was fiction and non-fiction at the same time. It gave you a good insight into how badly people were treated in camps like these, which was interesting, but also very sad. I like how the author wrote the book with 2 different perspectives, and how Jimmy and Subhi started an unusual friendship, fired by the gifts they gave to the other (Subhi-reading, Jimmy-things Subhi had never seen or experienced before(like hot chocolate)).The plot was original, gripping, and believable, with an unexpected twist on Subhi's hopes and dreams (which I will not say because that would be a spoiler). There were some sad parts, others happy, and some exciting, fascinating and scary at the same time, which made it a good book to read.
