A Boy and a Bear in a Boat!
This book was a bit unreal and I found it annoying that there wasn't a proper ending. It made you feel like there was no point to the whole story. It wasn't very engaging or interesting. Although, I thought the author was very clever to have been able to actually make a book out of that small idea.

A Greyhound of a Girl!
I liked the first half of this book, but towards the end it got so unreal, that it was just silly. This was because they saw a ghost but didn't react realistically. Apart from that, it was a very good book, and I like the way Roddy Doyle writes.

Review of boy and a bear in a boat
It was good. I liked it but it was a bit frustrating because it didn' t really have a proper ending however it had some bits in it when it was exciting.

Review of Code Name Verity
Code Name Verity was a sensational story about friendship and courage. It is set in the Second World War. This book is both exciting and clever; I love the way the author leaves hints in the text and you have to peice together clues. I was hooked until the very end and I would recommend this thrilling adventure book.

Review of Wonder
I was gripped by this book. It was interesting, powerful and sometimes sad. It made you realise how lucky you were to be normal. It was clever how the author showed you how August (the main character) looked to different people. I'd give Wonder 5 stars!!!

This might have been the strangest book i have ever read!! It was a very good book i must admit but I have never read anything like it. It had many stories in one but all with two particular characters - forbidden forever love. It was almost scary but then almost a fairy tale - it was amazing.

Review of Maggot Moon
This book was really good. It was sad and emotional but I couldn't put it down. The book had realistic events as well as humerous imaganary parts. The book kept refering to a young boys imaganation and his life long ambitions on a mystery planet called juniper.

This book is amazing and I really enjoyed it. I reccomended it to my mum and grandma. I couldn't put it down as it is quite sad but really happy. It was intresting because you read what this boy August looks like from differnt peoples point of view. I really enjoyed it!
