	Newlands Catholic School FCJ Middlesbrough, Group status: we're just getting started Pupils from Years 7 to 9 meet weekly at the Library for the Books and Biscuits Reading Group. This is the third year that the group has participated in the shadowing scheme. Each week there is a lively debate on the books they have been reading and we usually do some activity or crafts based on the books. For the first time this year the group has also looked at the shortlisted books for the Kate Greenaway Medal.

Little Mouse is afraid of almost everything. We learn about all his phobias, from his fear of creepy crawlies to his fear of clocks, dogs, cats and shadows. The only thing that makes him feel better is that human beings actually seem to be afraid of him!
