Things A Bright Girl Can Do

This book makes a very interesting and insightful read. It is set around the period of time leading up to WW1 and tells the story of three suffragettes all fighting for freedom. Evelyn, a privileged young woman who wants to live a life of freedom and attend university, even if it means sacrifice. Nell, a young girl used to the challenges of life and not afraid to be unique campaigns for equal rights and fights tirelessly to keep her family afloat. And May ' a modern woman ' who uses anti-violence protest to spread her beliefs: then she finds a soul mate- Nell.
Together the two girls yearn for a world of unity and acceptance. I loved this book. I think it really shows another perspective to the women's fight for the vote. I enjoyed the personalities of the different women and the action and the drama. I would rate this book 5 stars.
