Things A Bright Girl Can Do

I thought this book was very hard-hitting and brutally realistic. It was fast-paced, exciting and eventful. It follows the story of three girls in the fight for freedom and the vote for women. Evelyn is from a rich family and has had a wealthy upbringing, May is a pacifist and has been raised as a strong believer in Christianity and Nell is from a poorer family where food is often scarce and there is not enough space for everyone inside the family home. But despite all their differences these three girls find themselves united in the suffragette stand. I really enjoyed this book, I would give it 8/10 and would recommend reading it.
