Grace, Xenial Readers of Rushey Mead

Bone Talk

Bone Talk is a really interesting, cultural novel and even though I think that the plot moved a bit slowly at first and had a slightly quick ending, I found it quite engaging overall. This book about a boy called Samkad who wants to have the honour of becoming a man. However everything he knows is turned upside down when the strange, different people who call themselves Americans turn up at his village. I recommend Bone Talk as it’s really good book that puts into perspective different cultures and ways of living - it’s an overall enjoyable read.
